probably was 2 version of audio system but I dont know what was a differences between them :(
Am I right, that PSS was equipped with 2-ways speaker in dashboard and front doors?
All speakers in 850 was made from paper (membran)?

I have sc-805 PSS with cd and 8 speakers, I want to buy a amplifier from c70 (4x70W, original from 850 are like a legend - very rare in Poland) and change speakers to... hmmm.. I dont know :( maybe somebody have any idea? how You improve audio system?
I'm looking for good, clear sound - not power; 800W super-hiper-mega-amplifier and 30'' bass-speakers not needed ;)

There were 3 options available in NL as far as I know. Very cheap paper doorspeakers (don't sound so good), a medium set of speakers and a High Performance Sound series (MY95, 96 and 97). All are of the paper type, but the last ones really sound great with the appropriate amplifier. Especially when you consider these are factory standard units from 15 years ago. The HPS can be found on T-5R's and R's. It was an option on other editions.
So far I have encountered 4 (!) different kinds of dashboard tweeters. The set with two speakers does not belong to the HPS range, it was a different option (check the original options catalog). The two way speakers in the front doors are of the medium type. You can judge the type of doorspeaker by the size of the magnet. Bigger magnet=better sound. Rear door: get the ones with the plastic 'bassreflex tube' on the back. If you have a sedan you can get a great pair of rear shelf speakers too.
If you're handy you can install an C70 amplifier (4x100W) beneath the passenger's seat. You need to make your own cables and plugs for this. Pinouts are readily available through Google.
