Ik kan een leren stuur krijgen voor een V70 classic. Hoe kan ik het stuur omwisselen zonder dat de airbag afgaat?

zo ZOU het moeten werken maar ik geef geen garantie, een airbag is een mythisch onderdeel waar veel fabels/verhalen over gaan...
Overtuig jezelf er echt van dat de stroom van de auto is, flitsen met grootlicht schijnt een goede remedie te zijn om eventuele overgebleven stroom uit je systeem te halen.
Airbag kan je ook eraf halen met aangesloten accu hoor, gewoon zorgen dat je de auto niet op contact zet, anders heb je foutcode erin...
Maar officieel moet de accu eraf, veiligheid hè :P
Bij iedere reparatie aan een auto waarbij elektriciteit is betrokken moet een monteur de accu afkoppelen, ja. Regels zijn regels.
Wat je ook kunt doen, MITS je geen enorme condensator voor je versterker erin hebt liggen is de afgekoppelde kabels tegen elkaar houden. Plus afkoppelen en tegen de minpool houden. Misschien knettert het even, maar dan weet je zeker dat er echt geen spanning meer ergens resteert. Door met je groot licht te seinen doe je in principe hetzelfde, alleen maak je nu de weerstand nog lager (stroom volgt de weg van de minste weerstand).

Preparations
Note! The following procedure applies to cars with SRS.
For cars without SRS see Replacing the steering column / steering shaft / seal / bearing / lower steering shaft joint .
Caution! The battery must not be connected when the steering wheel module is removed or installed.
Disconnect the battery negative terminal. See Note when disconnecting/connecting the battery lead .
Note! Make a note of the anti-theft radio code.

Removing the steering wheel module
-Slacken off the two Torx screws at rear of steering wheel.
Turn the steering wheel 90° in both directions to access the screws
-Disconnect the connector
-Remove the steering wheel module
-Slacken off the screw from the hole in the steering wheel. The screw must always remain in the plastic strap.
Note! Lock the contact reel into position using the locking screw to mark the position for the contact reel.

-Remove the steering wheel screw. Ensure that the front wheels are pointing straight ahead
-Note! Mark / score the steering shaft - steering wheel hub to mark the original position of the steering wheel.
-Lift off the steering wheel.

Take care to ensure that neither connector nor plastic strap and screw catch in the steering wheel during removal.
Installation
Installing the steering wheel
If installing a new steering wheel, mark / score it. See Removing the steering wheel module
-Route the wiring from the contact reel through the steering wheel
-Carefully install the steering wheel so that both catches on the contact reel are seated in the two recesses in the steering wheel hub
-Note! Check that the markings / scoring correspond between the steering shaft and the steering wheel hub.
-Install the steering wheel screw
-Finger tighten.
Note! Do not turn the steering wheel when it is on the steering shaft. The contact reel is locked and may be damaged if the steering wheel is turned.
-Remove the screw locking the contact reel. Install the locking screw in the hole in the steering wheel
-Tighten the screw in the center of the steering wheel. Tighten to 40 Nm.

Installing the steering wheel module
-Turn the ignition key to position I to unlock the steering wheel
-Position the lower section of the steering wheel module against the steering wheel (1)
-Connect the connector (2)
-Fold in the steering wheel module using Torx screws from the rear
-First install the right-hand screw. Turn the steering wheel to gain access to the screws
-Tighten to 10 Nm.
Check
Check that the steering wheel can be turned easily.
After securing all the components switch on the ignition to position II.
Connect the battery negative lead according to Note when disconnecting/connecting the battery lead .
Note! Ensure that nobody is inside the car when the battery is being connected.
Check that the SRS warning light goes out.
