Nee, geen speciaal gereedschap, maar ik heb eerder wel gevraagd of iemand (die uiteraard een paar minuutjes tijd heeft) mij even kon helpen met stellen van (vooral) de kofferdeksel. Gaat niet dicht als de auto 1 graden scheef staat en ik krijg de schroeven niet los

Algemene opmerking van mijn kant:
Ik kom in eerste instantie om andermans automaten te flushen, daarna wil ik even onder mijn auto kijken en tenslotte wil ik iedereen helpen met dashboardkastjes, kapotte dashboardlampjes, enz.

Ik natuurlijk ook voorde automaat, misschien nog even naar stoelverwarming en mistlamp voor.

Nee, daar wordt voor gezorgd.

dat klopt. Een airbag is een tasje, geen kastje...

Ik zal er dus pas rond 13.30h zijn aangezien ik op zaterdag tot 12h werk.
Ik ga naast de flush ook nog wat lampjes vervangen (Maikel HEEELLLPPP ) en mijn thermostaat vervangen, want vorige week met koude voeten vanuit Duitsland teruggekomen, met -10° warmt ie echt niet op als je thermo open blijft staan.
Dus moesten we regelmatig stoppen om de binnentemperatuur weer wat te laten oplopen.

das mooi ja Hopelijk is het een beetje knap weer...

Dat is dan inclusief filter en zo toch...?

Keb m'n laptop aan de klets voor Vadis en nog wat kleine 850-wetenswaardigheden. (Wist je dat je ODBII wel met de hand kunt uitlezen??). Zal m meenemen (inclusief adapter, want de accu gaat maar anderhalf uur mee )

nee, enkel oliewissel word gedaan.!

Op www.v70r.com zag ik onderstaande flushmethode staan voor de awd.
wat is het verschil?

The dipstick for your Automatic Transmission is located on the right front of the engine as indicated in illustration below:

According to Volvo, the factory installed transmission fluid is normally good for life. Volvo does, however, suggest that cars that are frequently driven in hot or mountainous conditions can benefit from an occasional fluid change.

If your car is covered by an extended warranty then Volvo Service should change it and you will have to use the high dollar Volvo Synthetic Oil - Volvo P/N 1161540, ~$16/liter. Tranny flush by Volvo will be in the $300-$400 range.

You can do it your self, but it can become is a little messy. I would use a good synthetic ATF. Here is one procedure I found:

1. Park the car on level ground and turn off the ignition;
2. Disconnect the transmission lines at the oil cooler;
3. Secure an appropriately sized hose to the transmission return line. The other end of the hose should be immersed in a container holding approximately 10 litres of fresh transmission fluid of the correct specification
4. Secure another length of hose to the output line from the transmission. The opposite end of this hose should lead to a large catch basin that is capable of holding 15-20 litres of fluid;
5. Keeping an eye on the container of fresh transmission fluid, have a friend start the car. The idling engine will simultaneously drive the transmission's internal pump, drawing fresh fluid into the transmission and torque converter, and forcing the old fluid into the catch basin;
6. Maintain an appropriate level of fresh transmission fluid in the container. That is to say that at no time should the return line be allowed to run dry or suck air;
7. Shut off the engine when the fluid from the output line runs clear (it will first appear to be darker than the fresh fluid, but will gradually lighten in color as the transmission is flushed);
8. With the ignition off, remove the drain and feed hoses. Re-attach the transmission lines to the oil cooler;
9. Re-start the car and check for leaks. Re-check the fluid level, making sure that it is in accordance with the owner's manual;
10. Dispose of your old fluid at a recycling depot or hazardous material site.
