On a serious note, this meeting on the 24th is going to be uber hot! 2 Saffrons and a Laser Blue are bad ass, multiple Saffrons and Laser Blues is going to be indescribable!

Update mbt deze meeting:

1) Zoals het er nu uit ziet gaan we verzamelen bij het Wapen van Beckum
(een erg goede fotolocatie met een parking die uitermate geschikt is )

2) BTCC bezichtiging
(Bij Thom de Jong; definitief akkoord moet ik nog afwachten)

3) Convooirijden richting Singraven (ik ga vandaag een mooie route uitzetten)
(Convooirijden is erg leuk maar heeft ook z'n nadelen)

4) Eindlocatie moet ik nog over denken

Thom Jr. Stond er niet afwijzend tegenover, maar hij koppelt nog terug. 

Vandaag de route es gereden.

Singraven e.o. is ook veel te klein voor een groep van zo rond de 25-30 volvo's.
A) Er is zoveel recreatieverkeer dat het best link is met alle fietsers etc.
B) Parkeren is moeilijk (vandaag zelf ondervonden, dus dat wordt m niet)

Ik heb de ervaring dat bij toeristische trekpleisters (Kastelen, etc.) je beter niet met de volvo's kunt gaan "bezetten" want de kans op evt schade o.i.d. is aanzienlijk. En dat wil ik niet hebben.

Heb onderweg wel een hele leuke locatie ontdekt...
The Saint kan tzt meer informatie verstrekken, hij is immers de organisator.

I was kinda hoping to be able to pay a visit to a castle of some sort, I looking forward to that, but trust a lively location will be found. I actually think that a fairly busy area might be kind of cool to park at so that a crowd of people can check out and appreciate the cars as well... and we can show off a bit too... thats part of the reason for the convoy too isnt it?

Er kleven ook risico's aan dit soort dingen Barry. En die ga ik als mede-organisator niet nemen...Voor hetzelfde geld rijdt iemand schade of erger.

Het is toch gewoon een meeting,waarom zou iemand schade rijden?Dat kan ook als je ergens anders heen gaat

De meeting in Brummen, vandaag, was ook enorm druk. Onder andere een meeting van de Celica-club, een club society-mannen met veel te dure auto's en dat allemaal verzameld in een bak grind.

Geen problemen!

Ik denk dat iedereen zich prima zou redden op een iets drukkere locatie.

Bij Singraven kun je meteen een happie eten, trouwens.

Whatever location is picked I'm sure it will turn out to be awesome. And I understand the concerns associated with a busier location but I don't see how its much worse than parking on the side of the street in a centrum or other busy locations.

I would only be concerned with parking space so that we can park next to and around each other and not seperate, that would suck. Also whether we can stay as a convoy and not get split up as well.

What I might suggest is come up with multiple locations near each other so that if one doesn't work out we just go to another. I think that since we're planning to drive around as well that we could perhaps integrate that into the plan?
