Was searching google and was checking out pics of Supra's and C5 Corvettes and how they had removable targa top roofs and then I had an awesome idea!!!



Already found a bunch of companies (in the US though) that sell retrofit kits, I'm guessing it might be not more difficult to install than a lambo door kit, would just require some fairly extensive modifying. Might even involve retrofiting attachments latches from the convertible C70, but I'm sure a specialist out there might know what to do.

What do you think? even though this is one mod I think I'm definitly going ahead with because its awesome!

Ik denk dat het de stevigheid van het geheel niet ten goede komt. Vind het ook niet echt passen, maar misschien is het een kwestie van wennen...

Ik denk dat het makkelijker is om een cabrio te nemen en een dak van een coupe er bij om er op te lassen.

Je zal er niet eens in komen, de auto zal gelijk door zijn voegen zakken als je het portier al open zou krijgen.

I agree it looks a little weird, but imagine driving in a coupe with a removable section to be able to drive with some open air!

 

Bij de Supra ligt de voorruit en achterste deel op 1 lijn. Bij de C70 ligt de voorruir lager dan het achterste deel. Gaat er heel maf uitzien met vooraanzicht.

Gave her a good cleaning today and then decided to try some stuff out:

When I got the pegs, I had silver signal lights installed to clean up the egg-yolk look, but I still had the amber inserts, thought about opening the corners to remove them, but then I though: the solution must be simpler than that! So I did the following, picked up some professional vynil from the print store that made my Sharon center caps and did the following:



No more amber inserts!! and for 15 euro!!!







Then I decided to get creative Look closely!
