Okay, the 9SMT bulbs apparently look like this except with an H3 base, does this kind of design make any sense for our use in the foglights since they are projector style? (on the C70 anyway) Doesn't it make more sense to have all the LEDs pointing forward?

Maakt weinig uit denk ik, een gloeidraad geeft ooklicht in alle richtingen. Van het brandpunt klopt zowieso geen barst meer. Het zal dus wel een spannend lichtbeeld geven.  De lichtsterkte is erg laag; veel hinder zal het overdag (!) niet opleveren.

Yes, but a filament bulb also gives a lot more light in the forward direction too, this one only has a single forward facing LED which is a small amount of light to begin with, so an LED bulb with mutliple forward facing bulbs would be better concerning output on project lights right?

They'll be cool to see during day and especially at night, the 6 LED T10 bulb I'm using in the headlights right now are very distinctive during the day

Okay, seems like people are getting interested so I'm gonna start a list, for now there is no definite choice as to which one so if you have a strong preference, post it next to your name.The choices are

The cheaper 29.99 6 SMT bulb, which, if we can get 10 orders, will come down to about 22.50 USD, or about 15 Euro, add a max of another 10 Euro for shipping from the US to here and then to you so lets say about 25 Euro for a pair

The 9 SMT bulb for 39.99, 10 orders will also get a 25% discount plus 10 euro shipping

There MIGHT be a third option, have emailed them asking if they can make any kind of H3 bulb, so maybe a 24LED Refractor bulb or a High Power LED bulb, just something that will be as bright as possible at a reasonable price

Side facing leds   why would I want that.
Een mistlicht schijnt toch alleenmaar voor uit, en volgens mij heeft de 850 geen side reflectors die het licht weer vooruit zouden zenden.

Of zie ik dat verkeerd ?
