Okay, ik doe mn best om dit in NL te doen want er gaan veel dingen miss met the R van Kasia en alle suggesties zien welkom.

Symtomen:

- Bij het started, auto idelt somes by 2000-2500 toeren en blijft daar een paar seconden hangen.
- Achter linker komplamp komt een luide piepende geluid en ook een tik achtig geluid, bijde worden harder en sneller tijdens het rijden
- Cooling fan blijft na het uit zetten lang draaien ook na maar een korte ritje
- bruine sludge sit aan het eind van de oliepijlstock (heb al een search gedaan en fix gelezen)

Vandaag en gisteren moest het accu even los om lichtjes achter de teller platen te vervangen, etc en de lambda licht die normaal de hele tijd aan was was nu uit, (denk omdat de accu meer dan 24uur niet aangeloten was) dus even test ritje gemaakt, eerste 10 minuten en the temp bleef heel laag maar ging langzaam omhoog. snelweg op en ineens gaat de temp pijl helemaal neer voor een paar seconden, komt the lambda lichtje weer aan en de temperatuur gaat helemaal weer net onder de halvewege markering.

Ideen:
- de vocht in the olie waarvan de sludge komt heeft denk ik wel veel mee te maken, gaan dit week nog olie vervangen en een lange rit maken.
- er zit een lek ergens in the lucht tubes waar extra lucht naar de motor komt waar de ratio te licht (of rich) is, dus die moet ik ook controlleren.

Yep ..

Hoge idle / stationair-toerentallen (en variatie hierin) is bijna altijd vacuumlekkage, alle knietjes, slangetjes etc eens goed nalopen, stationar-regelaar / gasklep even schoonmaken kan ook helpen ..

afwijkingen in temperatuur en fangedrag kan in logische volgorde thermostaat, tempsensor en of het ventilator-relais zijn.

Het getik / geratel ?

Toeren vasthouden bij het starten is normaal, de mijne doet dat ook en hoeveel toeren is geen peil op te trekken. Dat bepaalt de computer zelf. Soms tikt ie net 1100 toeren aan, soms idd 2500. De enige invloed die je zelf hebt is zorgen dat alle primaire onderdelen schoon zijn: gasklep, stationairregelaar en injectors.

Achter linkerkoplamp / koelfan: staat de airco soms aan? Dan is een draaiende fan normaal, de klikgeluiden ook en het piepen kan duiden op een versleten multiriem.

Sludge: ook olie in het koelwaterreservoir? Onder olievuldop ook sludge? Indien 2x nee: geen zorgen maken.

En binnen 3 a 4 km moet de temperatuur van het koelwater echt wel op peil zijn. Plaats een nieuwe thermostaat om mee te beginnen, dan temp.sensor indien de klachten aanhouden.


Heb je al foutcodes uitgelezen?

I don't have the means to check error codes yet, still waiting on the ODBII reader.

New developments:

- ticking is no longer there with or without the airco on and can't for the life of me replicate it.
- the loud whining/peeping sounds continues as well as the strange dropping and raising of the RPM, upon starting, the car can't decide whether to idle 600, 800, 900, 1100, just fluctuates.
- can't find ANY faulty tubes or connections fortunately or unfortunately, I could of course be missing something, but as far as my 30 minute search shows, everything looks okay.

Unless anyone has any firm ideas, I guess the only thing to do is head over to the specialist and have them take a look at it.

Update:

The idle valve has been filled, cleaned and wiped down and the throttle valve was also cleaned down and wiped, there was enough grime and crap there that it took a fair bit of time to get it looking decent. No holes present in this model of throttle valve, so just opened the valve and cleaned and wiped as deep as as I could.

Result:

On the positive side, the temperature rises steadily and is definitely reading a more healthy half way point. Idle rev is also steady at 900 rpm. After a spirited test drive, car doesn't continue to run after shutting down, big huge plus

The lambda light was off again as the the battery had been disconnected for a while, but came on again, I'm guessing this is now due to the error code simply still being in the system and will be done one its erased, strange though that it remains off for about 15 minutes before coming back on again.

I know recognize and know that the loud clicking sound is coming from the idle valve, is there a way to fix this? I had hoped that by cleaning it out that this would go away, is replacing the Bosch component the only way to go now?

Noise behind the right headlight is still there and loud, I've determined this is not related to the airco. Tomorrow the car is having an oil and filter change and I think that might help some. No sludge in coolant reservoir or oil feed, but I'm guessing that with that crap in the engine that not everything is running super smoothly.

De opgeslagen foutcode staat los van de actuele situatie. M.a.w. de computer heeft een storing waargenomen en laat dit zien middels het lampje op het dashboard. Omdat het weer aan is gegaan kun je er van uitgaan dat deze storing niet opgelost is. Foutcodes (laten) uitlezen en de code hier posten, dan kunnen we gericht gaan zoeken.

Tja, ze zorgen voor wel meer hoofdbrekens, maar meestal zoemen ze er flink op los. Een klikkend geluid zegt me zo niets.. Probeer eerst eenzelfde type stationairregelaar met een forumlid in de buurt of op een meeting. Ze zijn niet goedkoop dacht ik. De verschillende types staan in het 'Stationair toerental' topic met foto.

Misschien de hoogteverstelling van de koplamp, zoals eerder aangehaald?

Was het aangekoekte harde bruine troep, of zachte oliedrap op de gasklep? In het geval van oliedrap is het raadzaam de carterontluchting eens te reinigen/vervangen omdat dit de bron is van de oliedrap in het inlaattraject.
