Lately I'm having this problem where I can't open my right side door from the outside, only from the inside. I unlock with the remote, but when I pull the handle, its as if the car is still locked, the handle moves but doesn't open the door. Only when I reach over from the driver seat can I easily open the door without any problems

ideas?

heb het na montage van mijn deurslot ook gehad.

als je de deur bekleding eraf haalt en het zwarte kapje wat over het slot heen zit ook, zie je op het slot zelf een witte strip zitten.

Deze witte strip moet op meerdere punten vast geklikt zitten op het slot, wanneer er 1 punt los zit kan je hem van binnen wel openen maar van buiten niet.

okay, so, I found out what's wrong.

BTW: Brouwer, your advise doesn't really apply to a C as the door lock on the C70 isn't hidden behind a plastic cover, but behind the door frame itself which cannot be removed obviously.

so I found out that the white plastic piece of the door handle with the hole in it, isn't even attached to the locking mechanism anymore. The rubber piece of the locking mechanism that should fit through the hole is near impossible to fit through the hole because it's such a tight squeeze to get in there. But then, I'm not even sure if something has broken off the locking mechanism.

Does anyone have a picture of the lock where the outer handle attaches to the mechanism? And does anyone have any idea how I could reattach it? I wanted to remove the two screws on the side of the door to move the door lock closer to the side of the door but the previous owner has worn those two screws so much that isn't near impossible to loosen them.

Het heeft een eigen onderdeelnummer, dus ik neem aan dat dat wel te bestellen is.

Het onderdeel wordt "afstandssteun" genoemd en het onderdeelnummer is 8618024.


Ik heb net nog even bij mijn wagen gekeken of ik het onderdeel kan zien, maar dat lukt me net niet via het gaatje in de zijkant van de deur.
En ik had geen zin om het deurpaneel er af te halen in het donker 

Misschien dat je het bij je andere portier kunt zien of het onderdeel daar wel zit?

I'm pretty sure that part 21 is the missing part in my passenger door. I was trying to fit the lock and the handle together without and it didn't fit, but I kept trying thinking that it might just be tight, but now I know.

ik heb ook een paar keer met mijn C70 gehad dat ik de deuren van buitenaf niet open kreeg  .

heb iedere keer de klink gedemonteerd en terug gezet, en gekeken ofdat deze weer
terug haakte. en iedere keer deed hij het gewoon weer.

je zou eigenlijk de speling moeten minimaliseren op het grijpertje (21) op je klink zelf,
dan zal je dit probleem niet meer hebben.

Ik kan me onderdeel 21 niet herinneren.....

Wél het enorme gepiel om het gekoppeld te krijgen.
Mij lukte het bij mijn V70 door zowel de handgreep als het slot los te schroeven (met hulp that is).
Eerst lange staafje aan handgreep deels in gat van slot, en vervolgens (rustig blijven...) de 'kom' aan de handgreep om de pal aan het slot manoevreren....

I was talking about my V70 '98...

Ik weet ook niet of het op de S of V aanwezig is. Het plaatje uit Vadis kreeg ik bij de C70 getoond (al zou je dat niet zeggen aan het auto model wat links boven in het plaatje staat.....).

Zelfde plaatje ook bij V70, echter rechts nr. 21 niet vermeld in onderdelenlijst....
