I'm going for a weekend to Berlin in a months time, realised you need an environment sticker to enter the centre. Hotel is inside the green zone, question is will I get a green (or yellow for buitenlands autos till 2011) on a '96 Volvo 855?  As per usual, a lot of contradicting message on the net, has anyone been to Germany with their car lately and has applied for the sticker?

Niet recent maar 2 jaar geleden.
850 T-5: groene sticker. Gekocht bij een Duitse Volvo dealer.

Benzine autos met geregelde kat krijgen een groene. Bij idere garage, Volvo dealer, ADAC, ANWB kan men deze verkrijgen.

Men moet alleen ff de voertuigpapieren voorleggen.

Zonder groene sticker kom je de  binnenstad bijv. niet meer binnen ( Mitte, Friedrichshain,Kreuzberg enz.)


En de politie in Berlijn letten daar erg op, dus echt niet zonder gaan

Als je nu eens in het Nederlands de boel hier neer kalkt , dan kunnen wellicht meerdere mensen je hlpen....

I speak Nederlands  (not very useful on an internet forum), and read in Nederlands (useful on an internet forum) but  save confusion its better that I type in English.

Since 1999, I have met very few Dutch or Belgians who had no grasp of the English language, but if you want a laugh or two I can try......

Heb een groene sticker op mijn S60 T5. Gehaald bij de Anwb. Duurt wel een paar dagen voor dat je hem in huis hebt.

found a  Volvo dealer just over the border, outside of Aachen. Will give them a call and see if i can visit there at the weekend.
