LED "Audi" DRLs

After much consideration, I've decided to go ahead with this aspect of my lighting project. I don't like the projector style headlights available for the S/V/C70, but I'm really digging the new LED lights that Audi is incorporating into their headlight designs:



Especially with the new Heico S80, it looks really good on there too, so I've decided to go ahead do a set of my own and make custom LED DRL/city lights and LED side mirror cap signals



Did some searching and found a lot of sites that actually sell ready made array kits. Found a US based site that sells the longest flexible LED arrays in 1' (about 30cm) I could find with white LEDs which would be perfect since the base of headlight is about 35 cm across, already in a waterproof 8mm tube and is clear so should hopefully blend in with the chrome of the headlights.

Depending on how this turns out, I will most likely go ahead with converting the taillights to LED as well and make the lights dual tone so that they're both running and brake.

De leds strips op de foto zijn bij lange na niet fel genoeg voor jou toepassing, en errug duur voor een paar ledjes ! (waar zit het goud ?) Ook ga je mogelijk ruzie krijgen met je koplamp wissers.
100% waterproof is echt niet nodig op die plek, even inspuiten met wat plastic spray geeft genoeg corrosie bestendigheid.

I'm going to be installing the lights inside the headlights themselves, so as clean an install as possible.

What does the circuit board look like from that 30cm array? Will it stand out when the leds are off?

Dat licht  aan de kleur die je aan PCB geeft. (kan je gewoon spuiten, binnen grenzen !)

Ik bedoel meer hoe die meneer het elke keer weer voor elkaar krijgt om elke Bentley die ie te pakken krijgt zo te vernaggelen.
Deze witte met Audi bumper en velgen en van die lucht inlaten achter.

Sorry barry maar ik vind het helemaal niet mooi led lampjes, maar goed dat terzijde...
Met de apk zou ik niet weten wat ik er aan zou doen....
Met de koplampen zeg ik altijd als het beeld maar goed is en niet verblind...
en in de spiegels ja dat mag gewoon zijn zoveel autos die dat hebben....

Waarom koop je niet gewoon een audi? Net als die Angel brows of hie dat ook heet van BMW. Die vind ik wel erg mooi op een BMW maar niet op een andere auto. Je ziet toch ook geen Audi met een Volvo diagonaal in de grill...
