Its been a while since I've posted anything new about Project Sharon, lots has been going on away from the whole Volvo/car scene that took priority.

First of all, Sharon had a new APK last month which required a lot of part replacements. Upper shock mounts front, new brakes rear, pads, discs, lines, etc, fuel pump, something with the alternator, all in the costs ran way way up.

Second of all, about 2 months ago, I had an accident where a woman had backed out of a parking space into and the corner of her rear bumper made a hefty dent in the left rear panel just behind the door. Problem was that I too was backing up INTO a parking space so after a lot of crap with the insurance company, I finally got 50% of the quoted repair costs, only to find that the garage decided to charge me twice as much as they had initially said, so I ended up having to look for another garage and still having to fork over a a crap load of money.

Anyway, so I picked up the car today having had the damage repaired. Sharon runs as smooth as butter now too and I couldn't be happier. So happy in fact that I decided to treat her to some good stuff.

1. I had the interior of the car completely professionally detailed, everything is so clean and showroom looking!
2. I had the strut brace and the spark plug cable cap painted.
3. I've taken the bezel out of the clear headlights and have had them painted black (same thing Dave has done except I don't have pics yet)

Things are still slow mod wise and those other priorities I mentioned earlier aren't all taken care of yet, but I'm on the right track, and so is project Sharon for that matter

Here's my experimentation in headlight setup. I've held back on doing this for a while because I felt the black corners had too large  of black surface area for a bright colored car. It seemed to only work on dark cars.

Thanks to Karl though (face.flava), my mind has been made up and I will be following a similar path as Dave (850 T5 Freak); as in, black corners, new lenses, and per good advice from Karl, a little something extra which I'll only reveal when its done.

Heel strak Barry. 
Die donkere wielen, en gespoten lampen en carbon zijspiegels. Dat past perfect bij elkaar.
En dat vreemd vormige boos-kijkertje past er best op.

Misschien een carbon voorlip ??  als dat bestaat voor die onderbumper.
