Is it possible to simply see whether the subframe isn't aligned properly or is that something that can only be measured?

Writing in Dutch takes much longer for me than writing in English and takes too much mind power to write these short messages.

I can't imagine that a different set of coilovers would work that much better that the KW's I have under the car right now. And what about the fact that its only the front right side that rubs and not the front left? I think if the wheel/tire combo was too big, then it would be rubbing on both sides and not just one I would imagine... right?

Maar om op je opmerking terug te komen; het aanlopen kan natuurlijk ook gewoon zijn dat je kunststof binnenkuip links een halve centimeter naar buiten komt dan rechts, het is nu niet bepaald vormvast spul.

But yes, Saturday the car goes on the bridge, the wheels come off and I'm checking out the plastic well and seeing what I fix up under there. Getting tired of driving a badass Saffron coupe, lowered, 19" rims and oh, driving past people checking out the car and GGGGSSHHSGGGSSHSHSHHHHhh...

Well, the car went on the bridge today and had the front wheels removed to see what was going on under there. Strangely, the front right KW coilover (which was the only side rubbing) was actually adjusted 2 notches higher than the left (which didn't rub at all). Strange that the higher adjusted side of the car was the side rubbing the most. Everything else was identical. So I raised the right side a further 2 notches, put the wheels back on and went for a drive. This sure enough improved the amount of rubbing experienced on bumpy roads but didn't fix it completely. After driving around with the adjusted height, I measured the distance from the top of the fender wheel arch to the ground and the right side was only 5mm higher than the left despite now being 4-5 notches higher than the left. How unbalanced are these cars??

I have also learnt that the tire was not rubbing against the outer fender wall, but against the rear upper edge of the well.
