I love my car

I don't just like my car, I love my car, I love everything about it from the color, to the shape, to the sound of the engine and exhaust note to the way it handles to way it rattles to the way my ABS warning light keeps coming on. I love it.

Saffron; I've seen other brands with an orange look a like. Noticeably Opel and their Vectra coupe, or is it an Astra? Who cares, they all look alike anyway. I've seen some Peugeots with an orange color and there are a few more. And yet Saffron is just far more beautiful and stunning than anything else out there, and no, biased feelings aside. Pending the angle of the sun you're going to see an intricate mix of red, brown, bronze and a hint of maya come out in what can only be described as an emotional play of pearlescent beauty.

Then there are the lines. Personally I consider the C70 coupe to be the final step from Volvo moving from their functional and minimalist design towards their P2 Ford-influenced models. It's a Volvo, but its not, and yet it still is, know what I mean? Perhaps it was the collaboration with TWR that brought on the stunning curves that could only be incorporated with the lines of a V70 to turn it into the coupe we all know, because alternatively it could have turned out to be an S70 with 2 doors, which might have been okay too, but again, not really, get it?

Then there's the handling. The massive turning radius which is only second to that of the USS Lincoln aircraft carrier, the way the rear shudders when slowly braking from high speed, the sudden kick in power above 3000 rpm. Sure there are better handling cars, sure there are faster cars, but I can't imagine anything putting a bigger smile on my face as I cruise on the highway. Plus with 13 speaker Dolby Surround straight out of the factory sounding this good, there's no better place on earth I'd rather be.

The fact that this car gets looks from those driving XK's, SL's and 3's is only a testament to how rare a beauty she truly is. She stands out in a full parking lot, she stands out in an empty space. Pride beams from me when people stare at a gas station wishing they had one without knowing they probably could!
