Feast your eyes on these:

this is a sample of anodized blue metalic gauges (same as in the new R's) but in X70  USA spec markings. This picture also shows all the markings LASER CUT from the faces so everything will be back lit and look stock at night but during the day, they will give off a really nice metalic blue look, unlike the other paper looking blue dials already available. or even our dull gray stock ones

The difference between the ones we'll get and this one in the photo are that the markings will be Euro spec, so that means the fuel gauge will read in liters, the UNLEADED FUEL ONLY will be gone and the speedo will read in kmh up to 260kmh (obviously these US spec dials would be inaccurate on our cars)

You have options as well! (yes choice is good no?) Thuur and I have talked some about creating a custom solution to create a FRONT LIT solution for the gauge cluster just like in the new Rs. We have yet to experiment but are confident we can pull this off with installing LED lights at the top of the cluster. Just like Thuur's ABS module fix, we hope that this solution will appeal to others if they want it installed in their cars maybe by ordering a kit or sending the cluster to him. So what does this mean?

This means that the dials will also be available with the numbers laser ETCHED into the metal so they won't be back lit and will be white/aluminum looking, however the increment markings around the speedo and rpm faces will remain cut and back lit. Now I know not everyone wants the R look, especially on this forum So there are also other colors available for those more conservative:

As well as Anodized Blue (pictured) there's Brushed/Untouched Aluminum, and MAYBE Polished Black or Gray

The other options are either ALL markings (so increments, numbers, fuel and oil icons and X1000R/min) laser cut and back lit (like in the picture) OR

ONLY the increments are laser cut and the rest are laser etched, depending on what people think, maybe everything can be etched too.

PRICE is 55 Euro a set. Not sure how much Thuur will ask for his front light solution, that will be determined when we figure how we're going to pull that off, or you can do it yourselves!

HALF LASER CUT AND ETCHED houd in dat the lijntjes aan de rand van de snelheid en toeren tellers net zo zijn als boven, the licht schijnt doorheen net zo als de tellers die julie nu hebben. the rest word ge-etched? dat betekent dat het net alsof het erop gedrukt/geprint is, en het zal wit zijn, maar daar komt natuurijk geen licht doorheen, dus moet je verlichting voor de tellers of zelf maken of je wacht af wat Thuur en ik maken. het resultaat zal net zijn als in the nieuwe R autos, dus zo:

Ik heb ook interesse in zo'n setje tellerplaaten, in't blauw zoals hierboven. Ik vroeg me enkel af wat ik me mag voorstellen bij de optie die Barry hier naar voor schuift. Het klinkt wel mooi, maar zie je dan nog wel cijfers op de tellers bij nacht?

If you go for the etched numbers, then they will NOT be backlit like your current dials and you won't be able to see them at night, you'll have to implement some kind of front lit solution, so maybe see what Thuur and I come up with later OR you can try your own solution like drilling holes at the top of the cluster and installing LEDs or something to light the front of the faces.

The option to have everything laser cut will have everything backlit and thus visible at night without further modification

I plan on ordering both
