Electische bestuurders stoel is vast

I moved my electic seat forward to let someone in and now it won't go back! I used the handle on the side of the backrest to push it forward. I'm lucky that I can just barely fit in to drive. But it's definitely stuck. None o the controls work on the drivers seat, it's completely dead. I checked the fuse but that seems ok. Passenger seat still works. Can't seem t find any loose cables under the seat. Any ideas? Anyone ever experience this?

De stoelen zijn volgens mij afgezekerd met een automatische zekering. Dat metalen blokje net onder het dekseltje van de zekeringkast, onderaan de zekeringen (als je bij het spatbord staat). Even het dekseltje lossen (4x Tx25), eruit halen en opnieuw erin stoppen, kijk eens of dat helpt.

Klopt. Zitten er 2; voor beide stoelen 1. Ik zou ze eens proberen om te wisselen.

of zit er gewoon een connector een beetje los onder de stoel?

Ze zitten rechts naast de gewone zekeringen, maar onder het zwarte kapje. Het kapje moet er dus vanaf.

I replaced the fuses with each other with no luck. The passenger side worked and the driver side remained dead. So now I'm guessing it's a cable of some sort that's come loose? I searched some on the forum and found that a cable or another was designed too short and has a tendancy to come loose but that had something to do with the back rest and even then the little seat motor could be heard when the button was pressed. Dealers and garages are too busy at the moment and I'm hesitant to spend money on their time if I don't have to. Any other ideas?

I just found a tiny spring under the seat. Could it be from the seat mechanism of some kind or are springs only holding the leather seat covers tight? Can't imagine it would kill the whole seat though.

Van welk jaar is die wagen ? Codes van de stoelen al uitgelezen ?

Misschien is de stroomdraad gebroken? Als hij helemaal geen geluid meer maakt duidt dat toch op of een kapot motortje, of geen stroom naar het motortje... ?

Lijkt mij ook niet dat het door een veertje zou kunnen komen...

Kun je de stekkers/stroom van de bijrijderstoel doorlussen op de bestuurders?

Fixed the problem. The spring was indeed the culprit. It was used to release a switch when the seat was pushed forward so that the circuit was broken for the side controls. Putting the spring back was too difficult and annoying in the cramped space so I just taped it permanently closed so now web if the seat is forward I can adjust the seat. Cheapo easy fix
