Funny. The truth is, that nowadays my CRX is equipped with a red Honda logo on the hood  . Size of exhaust comes close, wing is to large though, neon wasn't, isn't and wont'be fitted, and euhm...i'm faster then a turtle.

Ah all in good fun. Allways a laugh to make fun of the rice out there, heck me and my friends allways point and laugh at a Honda that makes more noise than a 747 at takeoff.

I know there are plenty of real enthusiasts out there who do a great job with their Honda's, but more than not, most of the pimped Japanese rides out there are just pure rice, and thats just sad. Honda make some great cars, I especially like the new Accord Coupe

Barry, as the head of the car club Street-illusions I know a lot of cars. The cars that will be present this sunday will be ricey but also very clean.

Some cars with interesting motorswaps will be there and are a lot faster then the fastest volvo on this forum. Its how you respect the time and effort they spend on their cars. Some like it, some don't.

My previous car was also a tricked out Honda Civic but with a Japanese touch. I was very proud of my achievment and still am till this day. It was a shame I had to sell the car due to circumstances but eh, sjips happens. But I got the most perfect car in return. A Volvo 850 T-5R

The thing is that most of the Honda drivers are performance-minded, but they're not here in Holland. It's a kinda small group of enthousiasts who indeed tune their car to the max. Most people stick with the plastic-junk, not my style. I find it still incedrible to see people tuning their Honda, add a Turbo, and put out 300-400bhp. From a 1600cc engine! SICK! More is possible, but everything has it's price.

Yes, my car makes a lot of noise, but sounds good IMHO. And besides that, it ain't slow, last week i had the chance to kill a Seat Ibiza Cupra. Lovely. But i do agree with you, most guys are only interested in ricing their car, and still running a 1400cc 75bhp engine.

BTW, nice Civic OMD, what engine?
