That's one very nice project you have there. It's coming along great. Nice to see an Australian explore the Dutch forums.

Where in Australia are you from? I spot a Victoria plate. Got some family in NZ, last time I went to Australia was around 2000. I really should get back there :D Loved it there.

Good luck on building your VR.

Thanks!
It's coming along nicely.

We also fitted a 23mm solid rear swaybar to it as well.

We're in Geelong, Victoria. A little less than an hour from Melbourne, and on the coast.
My wife has dutch family and we came Holland in late 2012. This forum is great because it helps me better understand dutch which helps with the family. I'm using google translate a lot to read posts and write them but I'm understanding a bit more than I used to.

NZ is fantastic. We have been over there twice now (both times during winter for skiing and snowboarding) and we're going over late this year to see things in summer for the first time. Where in NZ are your relatives?

Yeah I love both NZ and Australia. We took an RV from Sydney up to Brisbane where our family has an apartment. They are on the northern island, mostly in and around Hamilton I believe. I went there twice now and we toured pretty much all of New Zealand (north and south). I really want to get back there as it's been way too long ;) Last time I went I was 6 or 7 though so the recollections I have are pretty limited.

Still love the country, the climate, and it's people :) Same goes for Australia of course :D

320mm upgrade  ;)

It should be registered next week.
Then exhaust system and downpipe, injectors and Nuke fuel rail and ECU upgrade.

It passed its roadworthy certificate last week but the transmission also died so that's now been swapped with a low km one.

Then, we will use it for a little more product development (one more product to get finished) and I'll drive it around for a few weeks while my normal daily car has some bodywork done.
Once that's all finished, the V70 will be sold and we'll look for a C30/S40/V50T5 or LS-LV Ford Focus ST (XR5 here) for our next project car.

We feel the same about Holland. It was very beautiful to travel around. We are hoping now to come back again next year.
This year, NZ will be our overseas holiday - our son is 16 months old so is becoming happier to travel. Next year we hope to bring him with us to see the relatives again and it would be nice to meet some of you as well.
